Cayce Feel Good Projects

During this time of uncertainty we are highlighting just a little bit of what makes Cayce strong and focusing on things that bring us joy and nourishes our souls and our bodies.

Here’s to a little bit less stress, a few more good memories and “feeling good”!

Cayce Gardens

Gardening can be grounding and bring us peace. It can also feed our family.

Local family-owned business, Locklair Farm Supply, (thank you Sammye!) has generously donated seeds so Cayce residents can start their own vegetable garden. Seeds will be given out to Cayce residents with proof of address through the drive thru at City Hall, while supplies last.

To get you started, Jackie Jordan with Clemson Extension has filmed two short videos on starting a garden and troubleshooting in your garden.

Our own Cayce Parks Manager James Denny has filmed a video detailing how to garden in a small space.

Two of the Lexington County Master Gardener Association members created two of our presentations. Barbara Whittaker has a video on creating an herb garden and Lyn Richards has a detailed presentation on pollinators and creating a butterfly garden. Please see the links below and enjoy!

Happy Gardening!
