The City of Cayce Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on September 18, 2017, at 6:00 PM at City Hall, 1800 Twelfth Street Extension. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public input and comment on the following:
Map Amendment No. PDD-2017-01
A request by the owner to make changes to the approved Brickworks Planned Development District at 190 Knox Abbott Drive, Knox Abbott Drive, Axtell Drive and Alexander Road. The property is further described as TMS 004648-03-027, -029,-031, -032, -033, and -034.
Text Amendment No. 001-17
A request by the City to amend Article 6.9-1 Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance to comply with requirements recommended by the Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA), including adoption of the new flood maps.
Text Amendment No. 002-17
A request by the City to amend Article 2 Definitions to define carports and Section 5.6 Accessory Buildings and Uses to add requirements for accessory buildings in residential districts.
Text Amendment No. 003-17
A request by the City to amend Section 9.8 Storage and Use of Campers or Recreational Vechicles in Residential Zones to permit storage of campers, recreational vechicles, and boats in side and rear yards.
The general public and other interested parties are encouraged to attend this public hearing. The Planning Commission is a recommending body only and final action is by City Council.
