The City of Cayce is holding its annual photography contest for its much-loved yearly calendar that showcases the beauty and charm of our City.

Along with gorgeous images from local photographers, the annual calendar also provides residents and visitors with information on City Council meetings, board and committee meetings throughout the year, special events, frequently used phone numbers, photos of Council Members, and more. A limited number of calendars are distributed for free to citizens at Cayce City Hall in December.

Rules for the City of Cayce 2023 Calendar Photo Contest are below. If you are interested in submitting, please review all the rules thoroughly.

  • Photographs must be the original work of the applicant and feature Cayce locations or people as its subject matter.

  • Photographs must be taken in landscape orientation and submitted as a digital file in either .jpg or .raw format of at least 3MB.

  • Images should be submitted as an attachment and emailed to arowan@caycesc.gov. In the body of the email photographers must include the following: full name, contact phone number, description of the photo including location and date taken. Subject line should read: Cayce Calendar Contest.

  • Entries must be received by Friday, September 9. Maximum of 3 photo submissions per entrant.

  • Entrants must be 18 years or older to enter. City of Cayce employees are not eligible to participate.

  • The City of Cayce assumes no responsibility for submissions. The City retains the right to use winning photos in any advertising or promotions it deems suitable, to inclulde social media.

  • A signed release form must also be included with image submission. A copy of the release form can be obtained by emailing arowan@caycesc.gov.
